The Jeremy Cross Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund was created in memory of Jeremy Cross, a long-time member and supporter of the Washington, DC chapter of CISV. Jeremy was introduced to CISV at the age of 11 by his mother, Dr. Sheila Mosee who traveled with the program when she was a child. It wasn’t long after his first summer camp abroad that he fell in love with traveling and making friends. Jeremy continued his involvement with the organization by attending multiple international and local programs and volunteering in community service events to promote peace education and building global friendships.
Jeremy was known in the community for his love of traveling, friendship, generosity and dedication to his loved ones.
In establishing this scholarship, Jeremy’s family and friends wish to recognize his love for traveling and making friends around the world. The funds from this scholarship will go to help families that want their children to have the CISV experiences Jeremy had, but have difficulty paying the full amount.
