We are always looking for volunteers to help with our year round programs and activites.
Volunteer as a Program leader!
How to Become a Program Leader for Village, Step Up, Interchange or Youth Meeting.
Our leaders are 21+ and are volunteers (not paid).
Submit application, references and are interviewed by our selection committee.
Submit and pass background checks. Attend required local and national training by CISV prior to travel.
2022 Selection Process
Applications and references are due by December 15, 2021
Interview Day is January 15, 2022
Selection Notifications will be received by January 22, 2022

Volunteer for our 2022 Youth Meeting
In Summer 2022 the DC Chapter is hosting a Youth Meeting for 12-13 years olds from 5 different countries. We are currently looking for Volunteers for the following committees below.
Food Committee - CISV DC will self cater all breakfast, snacks and weekend meals. We need volunteers to donate breakfast and snack items and to sponsor weekend lunch and dinner meals.
Supplies - Donate Supplies. A list will be provided.
Leader Welcome Party - Date TBD - We are looking for someone or a few people to host a welcome party for our leaders who have traveled far and have quite a busy month of non-stop planning and fun ahead of them.
Gift Card Donations - we can always use gift cards from the following locations to purchase items needed for our camp. Walmart, Costco, Sams Club, BJs, Grocery Stores.
Monetary Donations - CISV is a 100% volunteer organization and it takes a village to host a village and our other camps, we need your help to raise funds. We want to make sure that we are hosting an unfortgettable experience for our delegates and their leaders.
